Are you really shy? Do you have a difficult time talking to someone you do not know? Do you have an even harder time talking to girls you do not know? I've been there. I used to have the worst time to talk to strangers. I would avoid taking the floor in college classes, and if a class is a requirement of presentation that I want to avoid that too. It was hard enough trying to be social in small groups. And when it came to approaching girls and asking them out – forget it. I freeze. This would take some time before they get to know a daughter well enough to make conversation without stuttering and making a fool of myself. So when it came time to ask her out – Well, it's just never happened.
I spent my adolescence and most of my college years, leaving my stand in the way of my shyness social life whole. Of course, I had friends, but they were like me. And if they were more social than me, I would just blend into the scenery. I think I only had relationships with girls because they saw me as harmless and do not consider me as someone they could even interest you
One day I was in college, I decided that I would not let my shyness get in the way most. That even if I could overcome my fear of public speaking, I could at least get over my fear of talking face-to-head with pretty girls. I knew I was going to have to get out of my comfort zone and just do it already. Here's what I did. I am challenged to smile and say hello to all the girls I went when I was walking on campus. I will not lie – it was difficult at first. But once a girl makes eye contact, it is actually easier. Girls are conditioned to be nice to everybody, and they will not you blow off just because you said hello. They'll say hello back.
